The SHEA library provides students and staff access to the “best in class” resources to undertake their study and research. The SHEA library is open to help students and staff find the most relevant material on any technology-related subjects. The SHEA library also supports students to continually evolve their digital literacy skills, support staff and students when undertaking their research projects and provides support to students with their academic writing . Apart from SHEA library membership, students (and staff) will be encouraged to utilise and/or become members of the following resources:
- Libraries Australia: Offers institutional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). - City of Sydney Library: Has nine branches to access free Wi-Fi and computers or to browse and borrow from the collection. Library membership is free if you live in NSW. City of Sydney Library members has free online access to an extensive range of subscription e-journals, databases, online courses and other e-resources (https://www.cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/library-collections/research-homework-databases)
- State Library: Students and staff will be encouraged to become members of a public library in NSW where they can access databases and other online resources (https://www.sl.nsw.gov.au/join)
- National Library of Australia: Students and staff, if Australian residents, will be encouraged to join NLA which has comprehensive access to databases and other online resources (https://www.nla.gov.au/getting-started/your-national-library-card#howtoget)
