At SHEA, our students are encouraged to go beyond theory and apply their knowledge to real-world challenges. As part of their capstone projects and AI and Machine Learning presentations, students showcased innovative projects across artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, computer vision, and digital technology.
The projects demonstrated the breadth of skills our students are developing and highlighted how emerging technologies can be applied to solve practical problems across healthcare, finance, security, transportation, and creative industries such as photography.

CNN-Based Cervical Cytology Classification
Students explored the use of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for cervical cytology classification, demonstrating how deep learning and image recognition can be applied to medical imaging.
Signature Forgery Detection Using Siamese CNN
The Signature Forgery Detection project explored the use of a Siamese CNN with contrastive loss for writer-independent verification, demonstrating how AI can support applications in identity verification, document security, and fraud detection.
AI-Based Pneumonia Detection from Chest X-Ray Images
Students investigated AI-based pneumonia detection using chest X-ray images and deep learning, exploring how computer vision can identify patterns in medical images and support healthcare applications.
Professional Photography Planner
The Professional Photography Planner project demonstrated how technology can also be applied to creative industries, helping photographers plan, organise, and manage their projects more efficiently.
NIFTY 50 Stock Prediction
Using financial data and predictive modelling, students explored NIFTY 50 stock prediction, investigating how data analytics and machine learning can be used to identify patterns and trends in financial markets.
Real-Time Visual Perception for Autonomous Driving
The Real-Time Visual Perception for Autonomous Driving project explored the application of AI and computer vision in intelligent transportation, focusing on how machines can interpret visual information from their surroundings.
Predicting Customer Churn in Banking Using Artificial Neural Networks
